Walk by Faith.

What does it mean to walk by faith?
Faith is taken too lightly by Christians today, we as believers must depend on God for everything not just something but everything. God supply all of our needs but we tend to forget that as we grow in our spiritual walk with Him. Please don’t think that when we walk by faith that we don’t mess up or can’t mess up and don’t think that there’s no consequences in messing up. When we are obedient in our walk with Christ and listen to his word we are rewarded greatly but when we mess up we are scolded for disobedience think of it, just as you would scold your child/children for doing wrong or being disobedient God scolds you; you are His child and you want Him scold you. We can’t learn if we don’t make mistakes, you can have all the knowledge in the world but you will mess up in Christ. Look at Abram; Abram was promised a nation, but because he wasn’t obedient and he was flogged. Read Genesis 12-16 just to get a hint of God’s scolding, taking a look back at my life and seeing the mistakes that I’ve made and I tell you this making those mistakes were the best and worst mistakes I’ve ever made, but if it didn’t happened I wouldn’t be here to write about my progress. It’s not an easy walk but it’s the best walk you’ll ever take if you decide to do so. The development of my Faith in Christ is not on this straight road upwards, it was a rough, hilly, a lot of curves and at times I felt like I was lost but as I grow in my Faith with Christ and learn to depend on Him I’m finding that my burdens are getting lighter and lighter each day.

What are the requirements needed to walk by Faith?
1. I must learn to listen to God. (Genesis 12:1)
What is so amazing is that when God speaks He never contradicts the bible. When we hear Gods voice we must not just run out and tell the first person that we see, everyone doesn’t have your best interest at heart but God does all the time.

2. I must learn to obey the voice and direction that God has given.
What is partial obedience? Disobedience…
We cannot say that we trust God partly because that is being disobedient, every time we are disobedient there are consequences that we must face not sometimes all the time.

3. I must learn to DEPEND On God. (Genesis 12:1-10)
Even in our most difficult times we must learn to Trust and Obey God Hand. How many of us think that God can’t help us in out darkest hour, you’re never alone but you have to choice to shoulder your own burdens just remember that Jesus is waiting to relieve you of that heavy load.

4. I must learn to wait on God. (Genesis 16:1-2)
Please be careful who you listen too, I know that we have a lot of people that we speak too about different things but trust in God with all of your heart and he will never lead you astray. All those friends that you speak too gives you their opinion on whatever matter that you speak of but if you take it to God first you’ll never have to go to a friend for their opinion. An opinion is of the devil, God’s word has a solid foundation and can be backed up with scripture.

5. I must learn to acknowledge my faith failures to God and Profit from them. (Genesis 22:5)
what are faith failures? Faith failures are simply the thing that God asked of you but you failed to adhere too. Are you willing to trust God even if it cost you everything you have accrued in this Lifetime?

What is faith? Faith is the most potent force in the universe, Faith empowers us to operate in the realm of God. Read Mark-9:23

Is that difficult to remember? Sometimes it is, it’s so difficult trying to access Gods’ voice when you’re being bombarded with opinions. How do we access Gods’ voice? Well that where prayer comes in, some call it that little tiny voice in your head, some call it your conscious, I call it Gods Voice! It was very difficult for me to hear Gods voice when I allow others to speak louder that Him, some people really have you best interest at heart but if we’re going to have faith we must put it in GOD and never MAN for He would never leave us nor forsake us, people do! God is always speaking but we’re not always listening; God is a Gentleman, He’s never going to come in unless you ask him too. I’m here for a purpose and you’re here for a purpose so it’s going to be difficult, God wants to establish His kingdom and that means that the devil wants you even more because you’re more that a conquer. I’ve battled with hearing Gods voice for a while but then I stepped back from myself and listened, how you might ask do you step back for yourself? Just be silent, still you mind and listen. The hardest task I’ve ever embarked on is “Dealing with Myself”. God is here to save us all from ourselves but if we don’t want to be saved then he’s not going to force Himself on us, you have to make that choice! I struggle everyday, I want to be a true man of God after His heart and I will get there because my life depends on it. It’s a very long road but I’m not going to give up on God cause He never not one time gave up on me. I have FAITH, I do believe in an unseen God, My life is worthless without Jesus Christ who died for me, so the lease I can do is try my hardest to show him unconditional love. Trust Him even when I cannot hear Him or seen Him, I love God too much to let my flesh keep coming in the way on Your glory for my life Lord. We are all kingdom seekers and we are going to find it! Please I beg You Please Don’t give up, God has His hand on You.

No Weapons!

Do you think God has his hand on you? The reason I asked that question are for many reasons;

Reason 1: Have you been feeling convicted lately?
Reason 2: Do you feel like you can’t get a break?
Reason 3: Are you asking yourself this question, Why is the world against me?
Reason 4: Are you questioning the direction in which your life is heading?

These are some questions that I’ve battled with for some time but choose to ignore them, I taught that it was just a phase in my life but come to find out that it was God trying to get my attention, trying to get me to refocus all my attention on Him. You see often times we think that we can do this all by ourselves but think again people. We can do nothing without Christ who strengthens US! We act tough, we get arrogant, we get self-reliant, We FORGET HIM but HE never forgets Us. It’s so easy, it comes as second nature to forget to put (GOD FIRST) is everything we do, and if you consciously neglect HIM it’s probably something we shouldn’t be doing in the first place. God will show you tough love if He has too just to get our undivided attention, just like a parent will do a stubborn child. Would you want Jesus to give up on you? No you won’t! Neither did I; but the fact of the matter is He would never give up on you and he didn’t give up because we are his anointed children and he said it, thou shalt not touch the Lord’s anointed but we have to believe that we are his anointed children and we also have to live that way. When God is trying to get your attention He will get it one way or another, I got the most precious thing taken away from me, well what I call precious, but God saw different. Are you willing to give up what you love the most in this world for Christ? I was literally under attack, nothing seemed right, my relationship with people who I love, my job, my finances, everything was in jeopardy but I realized I wasn’t doing something and that was seeking God voice. Biggest mistake I’ve ever made! Some people may disagree but I tell you the truth when God has His hand on you; you will know it! The only thing that saved me is Prayer. We fall but what are we going to do after we fall, stay down or get back up. I would call you a punk if you stay down and I would call you a sinner saved by grace if you stand up, you see I’m a sinner saved by grace but I cannot keep making the same mistakes over and over again. So all of you who fell down and think that you can’t get up, come on STAND; I’M NOT PERFECT AND YOU’RE NOT PERFECT FOR THE ONLY PERFECT MAN IS CHRIST JESUS AND HE KNOW THAT WE WILL FALL SO GET UP AND DON’T BEAT YOURSELF UP, JUST ASK FOR FORGIVENESS AND ASK GOD TO DELIVER YOU FROM THAT STRONGHOLD IN YOUR LIFE.

Father, I come boldly before your throne of grace that I may get mercy, forgiveness, and deliverance from that which I have done.

I realize that you are the all-seeing and all-knowing God. I know that you saw what I did, and you were even there when I did it. therefore, I come before You not in the way of Adam. For after Adam sinned, he hid himself, thinking that he could hide from you. Father, I know that I cannot hide my sins from You; and neither do I attempt to hide them – for you know all things. You even know the thoughts and intents of our hearts. Therefore, I stand exposed, naked and open before you, as I confess my sins.

Father, I confess (name whatever you have done). For Your Word says that if we confess our sins before You, that you are a faithful and a just God who will forgive us of our sins, and cleanse us from all of our unrighteousness.

I thank You Father for re-establishing me, strengthening me, and filling me with Your joy and gladness. I pray that you would restore
unto me the joy of Your salvation. May you create within me a clean heart, and continually renew a right and Godly spirit within me.

I thank you that I am a new creation in Christ Jesus; the old things are passed away that includes my old life of sin and disobedience unto you; and behold, all things have become new – which means that I now have the nature of God. My nature is no longer to seek and please the flesh, but to seek, please, and do your perfect will.

Father, I receive Your word into my heart and my life. And I pray that you would bless me to walk in the spirit, and hide your word deep within my heart, so that I will not sin against you.

Now Father, I thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness. I also that You for the power that You have given me at Calvary over sin. And I now walk in the light of my redemption through Christ, and I receive your power and strength in my life, and my victory over sin.

In the name Of Jesus Christ, I pray, AMEN!

Need Him: Finding God Pt.2

Something isn’t complete between you and God, but you’re not sure what you’re missing. Perhaps you’ve had these thoughts; I know I find myself asking these questions.

1. I try to live a good life.
2. I try to be a good person.
3. I obey the ten commandments (mostly).
4. I am nice and I don’t steal or kill.

I’m a good person. I try to be the best I can be, try to do what’s right most of the time and try to do more good things than bad. so why do I still feel this void?

I’ve even tried more drastic ways of dulling my pain —- Sex, drinking, buying new things, going to fun places, meeting the right crowd, etc..
And for all this trying, there is still something missing. So What do you try next?

I turned to God; I tried everything that I taught would bring be pleasure but instead it brought me pain a lot of it.

John 14:1-6

1. “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, i will come back and take you with me that you also may be where I am. 4. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
5. Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so haw can we know the way?
6. Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Our daily struggles are way too much for us to bear, so please I BEG you let’s turn to Our Father For Our daily Bread.

Rejoicing in God’s protection and peace…

“Answer me when I call to you,
O my righteous God.
Give me relief from my distress;
Be merciful to me and hear my prayer.

How long, O men, will you turn my glory into shame?
How long will you love delusions and seek false gods?
Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for Himself;
The Lord will hear when I call to HIM.

In your anger DO NOT SIN;
when you are on your beds,
search your hearts and be silent.
Offer right sacrifices
and trust in the LORD.

Many are asking, WHO can show us any GOOD?
Let the LIGHT of your FACE shine unto us, O Lord.
You have filled my heart with greater JOY
then when their grain and new wine abound.
I will lie down and sleep in PEACE,
for you alone, make me dwell in safety.”

Psalm 4: 1-8

Sometimes we think that GOD will not hear us because we have fallen short of HIS high standards for holy living. But if we have trusted Christ for salvation, God has forgiven us, and HE will listen to US. When we feel as though your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling, remember that as a believers you have been set apart by GOD and that HE LOVES YOU. He hears and answers, although His answers my not be what you expect. Look at you problems in the light of GOD’s power instead of looking at GOD in the shadow of your problems.

This is the day that the LORD has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it….

God bless you… Let’s finish this week STRONG IN THE LORD!!!
